Peter Sellers (1985)
Keith Bassford produced a series of stamps to mark British Film Year. The second class stamp featured the actor Peter Sellers who had died five years previously and incorporated a photograph by Bill Brandt along with Sellers’ autograph. The other stamps depicted David Niven, Charlie Chaplin, Vivien Leigh and Alfred Hitchcock.
