Morris commercial lorry (1956)
This LC5 model was introduced in 1943 as a medium-sized bulk carrier to carry mail between railway stations, sorting offices and short-distance journeys. It was one of the last Morris models to be built especially to Royal Mail specifications. The one below was rescued from a scrap-yard and refurbished by Royal Mail apprentice mechanics and used by the Midlands Publicity Department for several years.
