Festival of Britain (1951)
The Festival of Britain in 1951 was a huge national event, with the South Bank of the River Thames in London at its centre. Special post boxes were situated around the site for visitors to post their postcards directly from the site. This is the collection plate for box No. 2 showing the collection times. It features the Festival of Britain logo.
