Royal Mail was the official sponsor of the British Olympic Team for the 1996 Atlanta Games. Special shoes were produced for postal workers up and down the country as part of the partnership. The back of the heel has 'ROYAL MAIL' stitched in red and on the outer edge 'OLYMPIC SPIRIT'. Stitched onto the tongue, is a label stating 'ROYAL MAIL OFFICIAL SPONSOR'.
