James Moses Nobbs
Moses Nobbs was the longest serving Mail Guard in the Royal Mail, serving 55 years (1836-1891) initially on the Mail Coaches and later on the railways in Travelling Post Offices (TPOs). This watercolour shows him wearing (2004-0180) a top hat and red coat is painted around 1890 by H E Brown.
