This is part of a file of letters and newspaper articles relating to the banning of the James Joyce novel Ulysses in Britain. On 27 March 1933, a warrant was issued to detain and open packages containing the novel, which was deemed obscene. This particular letter is from a member of the public enquiring about the non-delivery of their copy of Ulysses.
