Hesketh World War 1 postcards (1915)

The BPMA has a group of 52 postcards, many sent to Mr and Mrs Hesketh in Newcastle upon Tyne during the First World War. Many of the cards bear Field Post Office and ‘Passed by Censor’ marks. This postcard is an image of Bolougne Casino. The message, written is pencil, is dated '16.6.15' and reads 'Had a run down here/ this afternoon with Barry. I wish you had been/ with us; scenery simply/ splendid./ Love from/ Billie.'
